brutus, the incredible pig dog.

we all love him, and you do to.  it's brutus, the amazing piglet/puppy dog who has stolen all of our hearts.  six months ago today, his late mother oprah gave birth to brutus, earl the pearl, and baby black nose, and i'd like to wish them three a very happy birthday!  brutus was cracking me up with this apple in his mouth--he wasn't gonna give it up for anything.

when oprah died, and we raised these three surviving piglets on the bottle, we were able to connect with the newborns in the way only a mother could.  and the result is amazing.

brutus will consistently be the first pig to come greet us.  the first pig to be there for feed.  the first pig to come in for the slop bucket.  brutus will sprint along side you and follow you wherever you go.  he is brutus.  and we love him.
