seasonal labor
we run upstream here at the backyard moon. while the usual migration from country to city still dominates the landscape, and the population of people who actually produce our food continues to dwindle, we've started a yankee revolution in the good ol' south, bringing in seasonal yankee farm labor from the boroughs of the big apple. nick, our newest acquisition, is pictured above (that's his normal expression).
fresh meat from the dirty red apple diggin' in to the dirty red clay. trash mountain, pictured above--at twnety dollars per ton, the admission seems fair. eight crumpled dollars later, and we were gone.
