CIVIL eats
follow the link to read an article i wrote for civil eats. for those who don’t know, it’s a website which promotes “critical thought about sustainable agriculture and food systems as part of building economically and socially just communities.”
my article is an answer to the question: why do i think so many young people such as myself are all of a sudden interested in farming. it’s included in a civil eats series calledyoung farmers unite.
here’s what i had to say: civil eats
two mowing posts in two days, i’ll admit, i’m a little surprised myself. after yesterday’s job i was a bit too tired to put together the video, but i thought doing so might help get you into my space a little bit more. so, here it is, an eight hour day on the tractor shrunk down to a minute.
i mean, seriously. eight hours. an entire work day. mowing. i hope the clip allows you to try that on, even if only for a minute.

reminder: if viewing this post soon after publishing youtube may still be processing the video. quality will improve shortly. thanks.
tommy want wingy
for those of you who are wondering, tommy has made a full recovery. from lame gimpy boar on his death bed to fat cat mud chiller, living the good life once again.
tommy sleeps, eats, and fucks. usually in reverse order.
